Nature Walk and Invasive Plant Removal
Information:

Foundation Trustee and ecologist, Jim Erckmann will lead a small group for a nature walk combined with a little invasive plant control. We will talk about the park’s natural history and girdle scattered laurel and holly trees in the middle of the park. The girdling will take very little effort, so we will mostly focus on park ecology and discuss why controlling invasive plants is important and why this park is a great example of older lowland forest.
