We could not do this without you. We have a dedicated crew of over 100 volunteers who work hard to make this event happen. It is your efforts that make this fund raiser possible.

Special thanks to those Chairpersons that work all year to plan this event;

  • Jami Wallace, Patti Allen and Jeff Groves - Run
  • Jennifer Duncan and Mary Decher - Entertainment
  • Morgan Burbridge - Cookshack
  • Ann Hill - Kid's Activities
  • Caroline Callendar - Face Painting

And of course, our fearless and kind Event Leader, Suzanne Kagen.

Sponsors

It is the sponsorships that make this a fund raiser. Our sponsors help defray costs and donate funds that directly support our mission to protect, preserve and enhance Bridle Trails State Park. Thank you for all your support!

Special thanks to our key sponsors including Microsoft who sponsors the run, Lake Washington Saddle Club who sponsors the entertainment and Red Apple who very generously donates not only their products, but their time and facilities.

Entertainment

Thank you to all those who provided their time and talents to make this event a huge success. We had another great year. See more pictures.

  • Valentine's Performing Pigs were terrific yet again.
  • Equestrian drill team, High Valley Riders were absolutely fantastic, what precision! They make it look so easy.
  • The princesses from The Ellensburg Rodeo Royal Court are always such a hit - so gracious and friendly.
  • The Donkey Dash was a bit soggy this year but there was still a huge turnout and fun was had by all the kids
  • New to our event this year were the equestrian vaulting team Above and Beyond Vaulters. What a fantastic performance they gave us, despite having to perform in their socks due to the slippery, wet sand!
  • Big Time Minature Horses were adorable and full of spunk - what a treat!
  • King Hats Dance provided some wonderful blue grass music, such talented musicians!
pony ride

Kid's activities

Is there anything better than riding a pony with a pony painted on your cheek? We don't think so! See more pictures.

A large crew of volunteers made sure that all the kids had a great time. The new "Angry Birds" game was a huge hit.

The cakes and cookies won at the Bake Walk are always a treat.

Pancakes!

Yes they are back to stay. With bacon and syrup, coffee or juice everyone had a wonderful meal.
