Bridle Trails Park Foundation has benefited from the dedication, knowledge, skills and enthusiasm of the following individuals who served as a Trustee for one or more terms. The success of the Foundation is due to these individuals, current trustees and all those who contribute their time and money. For everyone who values Bridle Trails State Park, we thank the following individuals: Suzanne Kagen Jennifer Duncan Alice has lived around Bridle Trails Park for over 40 years. She was on the Board of Directors of Lake Washington Saddle Club for over 30 years, the Advisory Board of the Bridle Trails Community Club, and is a founding member of the Bridle Trails Park Foundation. Alice most recently served as Secretary of the Foundation. She is passionately committed to preserving and maintaining this one-of-a-kind equestrian/pedestrian park for generations to come. Don Prince
Don has been a resident of the Bridle Trails area for over 30 years and uses the park for jogging and hiking with the family dogs. Don served as Foundation President for seven years. Don’s interest is to preserve the park as the cornerstone of the community and encourage more residents to use the trails and other facilities throughout the park. Norm Hansen Norm has been a resident of Bridle Trails for over 30 years. He enjoys the open space and forested environment of the Park. He is active in the Bridle Trails Community in preserving our quality of life. He is one of the original founders of the Foundation. Lothar Pinkers Lothar is a retired general surgeon who has lived in the Bellevue-Kirkland area for over 35 years. After following his horse-crazy youngest daughter to shows for several years, Lothar became involved in horse show management. First with the Lake Washington Saddle Club then the Equestrians' Institute dressage shows. You can find him riding the Park trails at least three days a week. From Lothar's perspective, "You meet the nicest people in the Park". Lothar served as Treasurer of the Foundation for over seven years and is a founding member. Lorraine Trosper Lorraine has been a resident of Bridle Trails and an equestrian/ pedestrian user of the Park for over 40 years. During that time she has been dedicated to preservation of the Park and the surrounding equestrian lifestyle. She is, or has been, a board member of the South Rose Hill/Bridle Trails Neighborhood Association, Bridle Trails Community Club, Lake Washington Saddle Club and is active in the King County Executive Horse Council. She is a founding member of the Foundation.
