Foundation Board members are from the equestrian, business and local community. They care passionately about the security and future of Bridle Trails State Park. Contact us at:btpf@bridletrails.org Ken Hite, Board Member & President Morgan Burbridge, Board Member. Morgan grew up in the Bridle Trails area as did his wife. He shares our feelings about the importance of keeping Bridle Trails open and vital for the sake of the entire community. He is a commercial Real Estate broker and is active in youth organizations as well as the Foundation. Jeffrey Gross, Board Member and Secretary. Jeffrey Gross has been a resident of Bridle Trails for the past 7 years. When he is not conceiving marketing ideas for his customers, he confesses that he draws his creativity and fresh idea thinking while running and hiking through the meandering trails of the park. He has joined the Board with a sincere passion to help foster a stronger Bridle Trails Park community , increase the number of social family activities and to build a stronger connection for residents and nature lovers alike. Karen Perry, Board Member and Treasurer. Karen is a life long Bridle Trails resident. She grew up riding in the Park and continues to enjoy it with her horses and daughters. Although she has seen many changes in the surrounding areas she so pleased the Park is still as beautiful as ever. She is excited to be part of the Board and brings her expertise in fundraising to the organization. Duane Pearson, Board Member. Duane operates and manages the Bridle Trails Red Apple Market. He values the contribution the Park makes to the neighborhood and wants to help ensure the Foundation's success. Ken Barney, Board Member. Ken has been a resident of Bridle Trails since 2000 and has been a supporter of the Park through his time and donations. He actively rides his horse in the Park, hikes the trails, and has helped with the Party in the Park since its inception. Ken values the Park and its surrounding neighborhoods and has worked actively to make the sure the Park remains open for the foreseeable future. Mary Decher, Board Member. She is a 40 year resident of Bridle Trails making use of and enjoying the Park almost daily. Her two daughters grew-up on Park trails and rings with their ponies, then horses and her husband, Reiner and their dog Sigi walk daily. Their love of the Park runs deep! It is a unique asset to our environment, ecologically offering a resource for native plants and animals as well as offering a retreat for its human neighbors. Its value is priceless, worth all efforts to protect and preserve. Jeff Grove, Board Member. Jeff has lived in Kirkland since 1994 and worked near Bridle Trails since 1991. A regular runner, and sometime orienteer, he can be seen almost every day enjoying the park in one way or another. He believes Bridle Trails State Park is a fantastic resource for a wide variety of users and wants to help keep it a thriving place while preserving the unique nature of the park.
