Foundation Board members are from the equestrian, business and local community. They care passionately about the security and future of Bridle Trails State Park. Contact us at: btparkfoundation@aol.com Ken Hite, Board Member & President Lothar Pinkers - Board Member & Treasurer. Lothar is a retired general surgeon who has lived in the Bellevue-Kirkland area for over 35 years. After following his horse-crazy youngest daughter to shows for several years, Lothar became involved in horse show management. First with the Lake Washington Saddle Club Fourth of July Shows, then the Equestrians' Institute dressage shows, and now, in addition to EI, USDF Region 6 Championships. At the age of 56, his wife Caroline committed the ultimate indiscretion and encouraged Lothar to take riding lessons. The result is a second horse enthusiast in the family. You can find him riding the Park trails at least three days a week. From Lothar's perspective, "You meet the nicest people in the Park. It is a joy to meet and talk with fellow riders, joggers, and walkers (individuals or whole families.) Some parts of the Park are so tranquil; you can even escape the noise of SR 405. Share it with us". Alice Prince - Board Member & Secretary.
