12th Annual Party in the Park
On Saturday, June 28th, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, we will once again host our annual Bridle Trails Park Party in the Park. The event will feature multiple demonstrations from some fabulous horse groups, other entertainment, kids games, and a 5k/10k trail run. Also not to be missed is the fantastic pancake breakfast. For more information see our Calendar of Events, or email PartyinthePark@bridletrails.org.
Plays in the Park
Music in the Park
We will again be hosting at least two music events at the park this summer, on July 23rd and August 13th. Check back later for more info, email email@example.com, or see our Calendar of Events.
Earth Day Stewardship Event
Earth Day events are held each year. The 2014 Earth Day event will be held Saturday, April 19, from 9:00 till noon. Click here for a flyer for the 2014 event. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Work is usually focused on cleaning up and removing non-native plants, and planting native species. Everyone works hard and by the end of the half day event a 40 cubic yard dumpster is usually full and many native plants are in the ground.
Our thanks to all those who participate. Washington State Parks Park Rangers are instrumental in making this event a success. A very special thanks also to Pacific Topsoils, which both donates the dumpster for the plant debris and recycles the plant material.
Volunteers devour pizza and salad for lunch, and we hope they leave feeling good about the work they accomplished and the help they provided.
Other Foundation Events
Bridle Trails Park Foundation hosts a number events at the Park thoughout the year. Our largest event is the "Party In The Park," but we have many others. We also host nature walks and stewardship events, walk and wag events for dog owners, and sometimes art classes.
